The Characters

        The entire story has 4 lead characters, each being a protagonist to their respective arcs. Majority of the story however focused more on Tomogashi "Tomo" Kitsumoro. Although the story was set at Japan at first, through the progression of Tomo's life, he was able to encounter famous and infamous names in the world of auto racing, who has a forte on their respective areas. Through them, Tomo was able to grow and realize things both in him and in others. Click the character to go to their Cast list for their respective arcs.

Here's a full-on Story Synopsis of Each Featured Arc Hero Accoding to their Timeline:

1. Protagonist: 秋山ダイキ - Daiki Akiyama

Protagonist Debut: Mugen: Akiyama Chronicles (無限 - 秋山クロニクル)

 

Daiki is a well-financed young pioneer of the automotive motorsports industry at Tokyo, who hosts  and 

owns the famed Akiyama Racing School (changed to Akiyama Racing Academy later) who earned his fame throughout the wangan by simply beating the best street racers with no remorse and with no motive. This stirred a lot of conspiracy between him and the leading 'Champion' Seiji Tsuchiya. Both his cars and his skills were well invested and he takes hold of every opportunity he gets in the professional league. He mains a Nissan Fairlady Z version S (Z33).


 

2. Protagonist: 護啓介 - Keisuke Mamoru

Protagonist Debut: Akiyama Chronicles - Epilogue(秋山クロニクル - エピローグ)

 

            Keisuke is a young Magazine Columnist for Hot Version Monthly and is Tomogashi's only cousin who lives at Tokyo, near the vicinity of the Gunma prefecture. He goes on living his life under the pseudonym "Kogure Seishiro"; no one knew of his true name other than a couple of his street racing friends. His skill is great but his style his unknown yet is versatile; he never gave into pressure. He mains a Nissan Silvia K's SE (CS14) then moved on to the Nissan GT-R Spec-V based on the Proto (CBAR35).

 

3. Protagonist: 木吊モロ 友賀詞 - Tomogashi Kitsumoro 

Protagonist Debut: Speed Legend: The Main Story (スピードの伝説)

 

             Tomogashi Kitsumoro, in the beginning, is a mere highschool student who aspires either to become a professional racer or one who owns his dream car - A Nissan Skyline R34. He's a very emotional guy who has the uncanny string of luck for most of his life - able to live the dream yet see its true colors which had demoralized him from time to time - on both the profressional and the street worlds of racing. The story mainly revolves around his life - from the day he graduates highschool to the day he graduates from his childhood dream. He mains a Nissan Silvia K's (CS14) inherited from Kogure then moved on to the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 V-spec II, a gift from a friend which he soon mained for the rest of the series.

 

4. Protagonist: 土屋 セイジ - Seiji Tsuchiya

 Protagonist debut: Fujin: Tsuchiya Chronicles (風神 - 土屋クロニクル)

 

               Seiji Tsuchiya, a journalist for JTKEd. (Japan Tuning Kanagawa Edition) is a famed street racer who held the longest streak of victories on the Wangan until it was tarnished by Daiki Akiyama - he then created a bitter rivalry with the wealthy driver to the point they got personal with their beliefs in street racing. Now calm, Seiji tells the story of his life without Akiyama and how his legacy is about to fade, making sure that doesn't happen he continues to trod the Wangan to meet with the new generation. He mains a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII GSR MR (CT9A) then modifies it similar to the Evolution IX GSR MR (CT9A).
