S: Round America & Canada

The Speed Legend S series comprises of 2 areas: San Francisco, America & the outskirts of Vancouver, Canada. Tomo, who is now part of the international youth racing group of Team Japan of the IGTL, will be experiencing a similar, though popular kind of racing at the States, while he's given a choice between his racing career or his cooking career at Canada. 35 and 25 chapters respectively, the story will show how racing one another on the road would change how you are as an individual. As quoted, "the road you drive on holds the answers to questions you can ask people but can't get the answer from." Tomo's encounter with Lucas Scott of the U.S. and Nathan Archibal Sr. & Jr. of Canada are but 2 of those whom Tomo needed to meet to have a self analysis of his own worth; not to mention how both might probably relate him to Daiki Akiyama before they even met back at the R series.

SPEED LEGEND S: ROUND AMERICA

Story takes place at San Francisco California where the next round of the IGTL takes place - at Sonoma Raceway (previously known as Infineon Raceway). Upon arriving on site, Team Japan decides to make things exciting for their drivers in narrowing down who would be the first to represent them outside the country through an elimination tournament between the drivers - Tomo, Shinosuke, Kitami, Sakura, Shimizu, and Hiei [after introducing him to Daiki as a racer through an uncanny experiment]. Midway through the semi-finals, there was a commotion going on between team Japan and some locals. Tomo confronts the locals at the cost of getting his leg sprained, making him unfit to participate despite insisting on racing on their team elimination finals.

While taking time to recuperate from his injury, Tomo decides to take a job at the "Golden Plate", a restaurant located near the Golden Gate Bridge's vicinity where he encounters Lucas Scott, a well known Basketball Star - turned - Blacklisted Street Racing Bad Boy. Taking interest in Tomo, knowing his professional background and recent false-alarm pursuit with the law, he proposes a challenge to him to try to take him down. Meanwhile, Sakura over-trains for the race event and passes out due to fatigue after doing both Time attack runs AND conducting the pitstops for 37 straight laps. As Sakura recovers and Shinosuke prepares, Tomo engages on street skirmish with the local street racers, making his way to facing Lucas Scott and his Corvette. Upon winning against Lucas and getting him arrested, Tomo feels a bit nostalgic after bumping into one of his ex-classmates from Culinary school.

After the races down the mountain passes, Sakura's IGTL debut begins but she is worried to the fact that Tomo didn't show up yet. Tomo, with Kasumi visits Lucas to see how he's doing followed by rushing to Sonoma Raceway to keep his promise with Sakura. Seeing him on the bleachers, Sakura becomes invigorated and wins the GT1 class barely a few meters from the Viper GTS-R Oreca. Tomo was requested a few days later to meet up with Lucas, who is in house-arrest and opens up to Tomo about certain matters. Realizing some things that they talked about, Tomo seems out of it especially when he was challenged randomly by a menacing Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR.

SPEED LEGEND S: ROUND CANADA

Following up after the events of Tomo against the unknown Viper ACR, Tomo is totally demoralized from racing - questioning his motives of being involved in the professional league. Moving up to Vancouver, the team explores an skating rink to have some recreation. There, Tomo encounters a cassanova who publicly kisses Kasumi, shocking everyone. This cassanova turns out to be a famous celebrity - Nathan Archibald Jr., who invites the entire team to stay at their Mansion for preparations for the Vancouver event.

Allowing them to stay in the Archibald residences for quite some time, Nathan Sr. proposed a challenge to Tomo - to make him refute his ownership to his car and force him to go full time in his chef-career. This broke the balance in Tomo and he was brought into emotional relapses. He gave in to his temptations through the aid of Sakura one time but did not deter Nathan Sr.'s conviction of the young visitor. When the time came for Nathan Sr. to have Tomo repossess his rights to his car, an immediate race took place for him against the Father and Son duo: From Cypress Bowl Road towards Lynn Valley's snow peak mountain and back totalling 70 kilometers. With little to no refresher, Tomo has to contend with unknown highway territory, Nathan Sr and his Ford GT Heritage model and Nathe's SRT Viper ACR Custom.
